Rug Description

This is a Peking rug from northeast China and it was woven circa 1900. The design of this rug is highly minimalist as the field does not have any design, it only has an art deco stylized border. This rug is in full pile condition which makes it a rare example of Peking weaving. It has been cleaned and is ready to be used in a modern and traditional setting.

At Mollaian srl we try to do our best, giving a new life to some of antique rugs with minor problems, that may have affected by age. So, apart from what is visible on the presented photos, it should be noted that the rugs are professionally cleaned, and where necessary, the Selvages/Sides and Ends/Fringes have been secured.
