Rug Description
This is a Khamseh rug from southwest Persia and was woven circa 1900. The design of this rug is a highly collectible design that is known as mother and child paisley. It has been given this name because the large paisley has smaller child-like paisleys within it. This example also has a unique flower style motif used though out the border. It has been woven on a wool foundation with 100% wool pile and is in overall very good condition. This rug has been cleaned is ready to be enjoyed in any home or added to any collection.
