Textile Description

This is an antique Turkish Ottoman textile woven during the end of the 19th century circa 1880-1900 and measures 266 x 190CM in size. This peace has a highly floral design with a center circular floral motif and located in the corners of the field are horns with protruding blossoming flowers all set on a gold background color. the borders follow the same design pattern with blossoming flowers and horn motifs again set on the same golden background color. This piece has been preserved in overall great condition which adds to its rarity and collectability.

So, apart from what is visible on the presented photos, it should be noted that the rugs are professionally cleaned, and where necessary, the Selvages/Sides and Ends/Fringes have been secured.
