Kilim Description

This is an antique Gafsa Tunisian kilim woven during the end of the 19th century circa 1900 and measures 220 x 185CM in size. This textile is designed with rows of polychrome geometric motifs including arrows, abstract camels and, medallions all set on a red background color. It has been woven using an all-wool foundation and 100% natural vegetable dyes and it has been preserved in excellent condition which adds to its rarity and beauty.
