Textile Description

This is an antique Egyptian textile woven during the first quarter of the 20th century circa 1920s and measures 184 x 90CM in size. this textile depicts original drawings from ancient Egypt with many different figures, traditional motifs, and hieroglyphics as well as an eagle add mid-flight at the top of this piece. It has been woven using a base parchment on which different colored textiles were woven on top to create its design. This textile has been preserved in OK condition with areas of wear, and some parts are torn or missing. these condition issues are normal and are consistent with its age.
