A fine Kirman carpet, South Persia
Size approx: 592cm. x 324cm
The light beige field with shaped large stylised lattice containing multicoloured flowering vases, palmettes, floral vine and floral cartouches. Central bold polychrome flower-head centrepiece. In broad open border of bold floral shaped half panels, arabesques and floral sprays.
Beautifully drawn and unusual design with very good colour combination. This carpet has full pile, sight and lustrous wool quality. Selvages rebound, well done. Ends with short fringes l, secured. In general this carpet is in very good condition throughout.
Excellent furnishing piece. Very attractive.
