Rug Description
This is an all-over Kashan carpet from central Persia woven circa 1900. This rug has an allover design with oversized palmettes with an arabesque design and cloud band motifs. The border design is made of palmettes with flanking sickle leaf motifs and flower motifs. This rug was woven on a cotton foundation and is in full pile condition. It is ready to be used and enjoyed for many ready to come.??
