Rug Description
This is a Peking rug woven in China at the end of the 19th century. The field of this rug’s design is made by using two different shades of blue to create a color contrasting effect. The design is made of mostly connecting cloud band motifs

So, apart from what is visible on the presented photos, it should be noted that the rugs are professionally cleaned, and where necessary, the Selvages/Sides and Ends/Fringes have been secured. Upon request, we can provide a complete condition report (including any retouch performed by our restoration team), if it is not already presented down below.
