Rug Description

The origin of this gorgeous carpet goes back to Ghiordes, one of the most important centres of carpet production during the Ottoman Empire. This beautiful rug is one woven by young girls about to be married, and these rugs were part of their dowry. This valuable piece has a special delicacy in the texture. The attractive colour scheme and distribution of elements in this carpet are everything that you desire.

At Mollaian srl we try to do our best, giving a new life to some of antique rugs with minor problems, that may have affected by age. So, apart from what is visible on the presented photos, it should be noted that the rugs are professionally cleaned, and where necessary, the Selvages/Sides and Ends/Fringes have been secured.
