Rug Description
The soft green field with stylised central tree, perching birds and animals. Unusual serpent mihrab above with floral motifs and birds together with inscription cartouche . In light beige border of bold palmettes animals and floral vine between floral meander and ribbon stripes.
Good type and very nicely design rug and well drawn motifs. This rug has slight even wear mainly in the field where down to knot collar in places. Ends with kilim and fringes. Selvages original. In general this piece is in good usable condition. Elegant piece.
