Tabriz rug
Approx: 472cm. x 375cm.

The field with shaded dusky-pink and apricot with multicoloured scrolling palmette and leafy vine around cusped indigo medallion with similar design. Linked soft beige floral spandrels in a shape of inner frame. In an indigo border of bold multicoloured radiating rosettes, palmette and angular floral vine between triple floral meander and plain stripes. This carpet has full pile, soft and lustrous wool. Colours are well balanced. Selvages original. Ends with short fringes, secured. Very good size, seldom found for this type. In general, this carpet is in very good condition.
