Rug Description

This is a vintage European rug woven during the mid-20th century circa 1950 and measures 141 x 72CM in size. It has a highly classical European drawing with golden-colored curling leaves which create a border and in close a highly spacious all-over floral design. Its center field design is a combination of single blossoming flowers and bouquets with a center pink colored flower. Its outer border is an open field that incorporates a delicate pink color which gives this rug a very delicate feel. The design of this European rug is a representation of Savannah re flat weeps woven in France and has a highly aristocratic and feminine theme. It has been preserved in overall great condition and can be incorporated into a modern or classical environment.
