Amazing example for this type with very nicely drawn design and very good colour combination. The field with single column of polychrome angular floral panels surrounded by hooked leafy vine and small floral motifs. In stylised turtle-palmettes, rosettes and floral meander border between scrolling and serrated vine stripes. This carpet has slightly corroded wear to the top pile, barely visible. Selvages original. Ends with short fringes, secured. Inscription and date in two corners at one end. In general, this carpet is in very good usable condition.
