This is an American hook rug woven in the United States during the 1920’s. This rug has an oval shape as many American hooked rugs do. It has been designed with a floral border and floral field. This rug is in surprisingly good condition as most examples begin to tare and get torn apart. It has been woven on an all cotton foundation with wool knotting. This rug has been cleaned and it is ready to been used and enjoyed for many years.
