Rug Description

Sarouk rug
Approx: 286cm. x 193cm.
(28206368)
The shaded soft rust field with central large multicoloured open floral medallion, surrounded by similar inner open floral fame. In Sandy-beige borer of polychrome rosette cartouches, angular floral sprays and hooked leaf tendrils between reciprocal and plain stripes. This carpet has full pile, very soft and lustrous wool. Colours are very well balanced. Selvages original. Ends with short fringes, secured. In general, this carpet is in very good condition. Attractive and very good furnishing piece.


At Mollaian srl we try to do our best, giving a new life to some of antique rugs with minor problems, that may have affected by age. So, apart from what is visible on the presented photos, it should be noted that the rugs are professionally cleaned, and where necessary, the Selvages/Sides and Ends/Fringes have been secured. Upon request, we can provide a complete condition report (including any retouch performed by our restoration team), if it is not already presented down below.
