Rug Description

A fine part silk Qum carpet.
The soft sandy-beige field with overall design of stylised multicoloured flowering bases, floral sprays, animal figures and birds. Surrounded by blue border and rust outer stripes with similar design. Outer linked lozenges and plain stripes. Nice design with well drawn motifs. Very good colour combination. This carpet has full pile, soft and lustrous wool and part silk. Ends with short fringes, secured. Selvages original. In general, this carpet is in very good usable condition. Very good furnishing piece.
