Antique Persian Rug Kashan Silk, 1900 ca. A wonderful antique Kashan silk carpet with an ivory background. The classic layout of the medallion design with four corners at the corners is embellished with multicolored floral decorations sinuously united with Islimi spiral motifs. The medallion is finely decorated, set in a combination of well-modulated contrasts and colors. The “herati” style border elegantly frames this antique silk Kashan, maintaining chromatic balance, defining with its purple red contrast the quality of the extremely high elaboration of the internal design.
