A fine antique Haji-Jalili Tabriz rug, North-West Persia
The soft light beige field with central light rust floral medallion with pendants radiating delicate floral tendrils. Wide deep indigo floral spandrels. In shaded light blue border of polychrome rosettes and delicate leafy vine between flowering vine and plain stripes. This rug has full pile very soft wool
quality. Ends and selvages original. Very good example for this type, seldom found in the market. In general, this rug is in very good condition throughout. Attractive and very good furnishing piece.
