Description
The ivory field with stylised multicoloured floral and leafy Tree of Life flanked by single cypress tree at each side and stylised vase below. Floral mihrab above. In rust-red border of polychrome palmettes and floral vine between indigo and ivory floral meander stripes. Outer barber-pile and plain stripes.
Very good design with well balanced colours. This rug has good pile of soft and lustrous silk and in general is in very good usable condition. Ends with fringes secured. Selvages rebound, well done. Very attractive and elegant piece.
