Rug Description
An antique Ushak runner,Turkey
Size, approx: 490cm. x 97cm.
The soft red field with single column of various multicoloured hooked palmettes. In sandy-beige border of lenders floral vine between zig-zags and plain stripes.
Great example for this type with very good design and well balanced colours. This runner has good pile. Selvages original. Ends secured, loss of border at each end, secured. In general this piece is in very good usable condition, despite loss on ends. Very good furnishing size, long and narrow. Attractive.
At Mollaian srl we try to do our best, giving a new life to some of antique rugs with minor problems, that may have affected by age. So, apart from what is visible on the presented photos, it should be noted that the rugs are professionally cleaned, and where necessary, the Selvages/Sides and Ends/Fringes have been secured. Upon request, we can provide a complete condition report (including any retouch performed by our restoration team), if it is not already presented down below.

- Missing part of the borders or/and have the fringe wear off
- Sewing a textile tape on Sides and (/or) Ends to protect more the rug
