Rug Description

This is a semi-antique Turkish Turk deco carpet woven during the mid 20th century circa 1950-1970s and measures 310 x 198 CM in size. It has an all-over field design with large-scale geometric medallions colored with a bright red hue against a dark blue background color creating a dramatic visual impact. The field of this rug is comprised of a vine design with blossoming flowers and arabesque motifs. A unique feature of this carpet is that it has no outer border and the whole carpet only has a field design. This carpet has been preserved in excellent condition retaining its full pile and all its original fringes.
