This is a Peking carpet from China and it was woven circa 1940’s. These Peking carpets are highly sought after by designers for their minimalistic design. It has an open blue field design and a light blue border with a flower pot and tree branch motifs. This rug has been woven on a cotton foundation and 100% wool pile. It is in perfect condition and is ready to be used and enjoyed in a modern or traditional setting.
