Rug Description

The field with overall checkered lozenge lattice together with open rosettes, containing multicoloured similar rosettes and angular vine. In multiple border of hooked panels, polychrome stylised palmette vine, trefoil and floral meander. Outer plain stripe.

Very food overall design and well balanced colours. This runner has good pile, black is very slightly corroded due to age. Selvages original. Ends with short fringes, secured. In general this piece is in very good usable condition. Elegant and very good furnishing piece.
