Rug Description

This is a semi-antique Kashan Dabir rug woven during the second quarter of the 20th century circa 1940 and measures 429 x 320CM in size. this piece has a traditional Persian design with a blue center medallion set on a red field color decorated with many different floral motives and palmettes. The border follows the field design with large-scale palmettes surrounded by smaller floral motifs set on a midnight blue background color. This piece has been preserved in excellent full pile condition and is ready to be used and enjoyed for many generations to come.


At Mollaian srl we try to do our best, giving a new life to some of antique rugs with minor problems, that may have affected by age. So, apart from what is visible on the presented photos, it should be noted that the rugs are professionally cleaned, and where necessary, the Selvages/Sides and Ends/Fringes have been secured. Upon request, we can provide a complete condition report (including any retouch performed by our restoration team), if it is not already presented down below.
