Bessarabian Rugs / Kilims are hand-woven on a wooden weaving machine. The best Bessarabian rugs were produced in the 18th century in the Russian Imperial Tapestry Factory. The name Bessarabian traditionally derives from the historical region where these rugs were carefully made. Bessarabian artists by drawing motifs loosely, created a unique and impressive effect.We are delighted to present you with one of the most beautiful and attractive antique kilims with fantastic geometric design. This wonderful antique Bessarabian with its special color palette of Pink and Purple will fascinate you. You can also design a breathtaking living room on this fabulous Bessarabian kilim. This kilim is properly in excellent condition and ready to be used or to be added to any unique collections.
At Mollaian srl we try to do our best, giving a new life to some of antique rugs with minor problems, that may have affected by age. So, apart from what is visible on the presented photos, it should be noted that the rugs are professionally cleaned, and where necessary, the Selvages/Sides and Ends/Fringes have been secured. Upon request, we can provide a complete condition report (including any retouch performed by our restoration team), if it is not already presented down below.
