Kilim Description
This is an antique palace size Indian Dhurrie kilim woven circa 1920 – 1950 and measures a massive 890 x 545 CM in size. It has an all-over design with rows of repeating red and green medallions connected with a yellow outline lattice design This kilim border incorporates a geometric curved design that can be seen throughout many cultures spanning from Europe to the Far East. this column is extremely decorative and incorporates happy colors that are extremely desirable and sought-after by designers and interior decorators alike. this textile has been preserved in pristine condition and has been professionally washed.
At Mollaian srl we try to do our best, giving a new life to some of antique rugs with minor problems, that may have affected by age. So, apart from what is visible on the presented photos, it should be noted that the rugs are professionally cleaned, and where necessary, the Selvages/Sides and Ends/Fringes have been secured. Upon request, we can provide a complete condition report (including any retouch performed by our restoration team), if it is not already presented down below.
