Textile Description

This is an antique Uzbekistan embroidery textile woven during the second quarter of the 20th century circa 1920-1950s and measures 194x 60CM in size. This piece’s design is made up of two center columns each with five compartments with geometric floral motifs all enclosed within a zig-zag border that contains 6 alternating shrub motifs located at the top. the brightly colored designs and motifs within this text style are set up on a white background color which creates color contrast giving this piece a dramatic visual effect. This textile has been preserved in excellent and pristine condition which adds to its rarity and aesthetic beauty.
