A pair of unusual Sarouk rugs, west Persia
Each rug with soft light beige open field containing two multicoloured flowering vases enclosed by floral garlands. Seldom could design and colour combination for this type, especially woven in pair. Both rugs have full pile, very soft and lustrous wool quality. Selvages original. Ends with short fringes, secured. In general, both rigs are in very good condition. Attractive and great furnishing pieces.
