Rug Description
A fine signed Meshed carpet, North-East Persia.
Size, approx:500cm. x 350cm.
The light blue field with overall design of large polychrome indented floral medallions surrounded by multicoloured floral and leafy vine, palmettes and arabesques. In soft beige border of bold palettes and arabesques between similar burgundy-red stripes. Outer floral meander and plain stripes. Very good overall design with very well balanced colours. This carpet has very good pile, soft and lustrous wool quality. Ends selvages original. In general this carpet is in very good condition throughout. Attractive and very good furnishing piece. Signature at one end.

So, apart from what is visible on the presented photos, it should be noted that the rugs are professionally cleaned, and where necessary, the Selvages/Sides and Ends/Fringes have been secured.
