A fine antique large Tabriz Haji-Jalili carpet, North-West Persia
Size, 550cm. x 345cm.
The field with overall large lattice containing stylised multicoloured floral panels. In light beige border of polychrome rosettes, floral and leafy vine between multiple floral and plain stripes. This carpet has very good pile, soft wool quality. Selvages rebound, well done. Ends with short fringes, secured.
Rather unusual and beautifully executed design. Bold appearance. Very good colour combination. In general, this carpet is in very good usable condition. Great furnishing piece.
