Rug Description

This is a massive antique German Tetex carpet woven circa the 1920s and measures 795 x 395CM in size. The design of this rug takes inspiration from 17th-century Persian vase carpets woven during the Safavid empire. Its border also incorporates a floral design with large palmettes interconnected with a vine design. this rug has been retained in overall perfect condition and has been professionally washed.
