Rug Description

A large antique Ziegler-Mahal Gallery carpet, West Persia. The ivory field with overall design with design of various palmettes, floral and scrolling left vine. In triple border of hooked arrowhead and floral meander.

Great overall design and soft pastel colours, this carpet has slight localised wear tic the pile. The main border is most probably missing. Selvages with replaced cord secured. Ends with short fringes secured. In general good usable condition, attractive.
