A very fine silk Qum rug.
The indigo field with palmette and leafy vine around central light beige medallion with similar design. Arabesque and palmette linked spandrels. In lit her beige stylised flowerhead vine border between reciprocal and plain stripes. Classic for this type with good colour combination and nicely drawn design. This rug has full pile, very soft silk quality. Ends and selvages original. In general this rug is in very good usable condition. Nice furnishing piece.
