Rug Description
This is an all silk Tabriz from northwest Persia woven circa 1900. The rug has a tree of life design that is blossoming from a vase and ascends to the top of the rug and ends at the apex of the mihrab. The field of this rug is made up of floral motifs, but the border is constructed using a geometric design. This rug has been very finely woven and it is in exceptional condition which shows how much it has been cherished throughout the years. This rug has been professionally cleaned and is ready to be enjoyed or added to any collection.
