The rust-red plain field with single column at each side. Indigo mihrab above with angular vine and bold palmettes together with floral cross panel. In charcoal-black border of polychrome floral and leafy motifs between multiple flowering vine, zig-zag and hooked S-motif stripes.

This rug has corroded black and localised wear on the the field and borders Down it know collar and below in places. Selvages and ends secured.
